Before YardTaskers, he spent years on pipeline jobs, drilling rigs, cranes, trucks, construction sites, aquaculture farms and plant nurseries. He also built pontoons and jetties in marine construction — where he developed the waterfront timber skills most Gold Coast trades never get near.

How long has YardTaskers been going?
YardTaskers has been running for several years, but Scott has 14+ years of hands-on trade experience across landscaping, carpentry, hardscaping and marine timber work.
Is Scott the one doing the work?
Yes. Scott quotes the job, plans the job, and runs the job himself — start to finish. You'll have his direct number from the first call, and you'll see him on site until the work is signed off.
What are your qualifications?
Cert III in Landscape Construction, Cert III in Aquaculture, fully qualified carpenter, all machinery licences, boat licence and truck licence. That combination is what lets Scott handle both land and waterfront work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — $5 million public liability insurance is in place for every job. Certificates of currency are available on request if your builder, strata, property manager or council needs one for the file. ABN 95 342 096 418.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. YardTaskers is an owner-operated trade. Scott does the work himself — that's the whole point of the business.
